Our Vision

It's not enough to have a vision, you have to take harsher steps to protect it.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has established ‘MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC)’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The primary mandate of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are informative years.

MIC has envisioned encouraging creation of ‘Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs)’ across selected HEIs. A network of these IICs will be established to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system in the campuses.

“Advice is like a snow flake- the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into mind.” My only advice to all our members is to not only dream but also achieve, become a perfect combination of a doer and a dreamer. One needs three things to create a successful start-up: to start with good people, to make something people actually want, to spend as little money as possible, and this cell is place where your ideas can build up in reality, if you try.

FROM THE CONVENOR'S DESK

Nurturing ideas and inspiring innovation are the key elements behind a successful startup and this purpose is served by our Innovation, Incubation and Star-up cell. The cell’ s work is commendable and inspirational for the students, later to achieve brilliance in the future. The cell gives them the courage to present their ideas among people and they also get to know and meet different other start-ups out there in the world which motivates them.

01 Startup Conclave

Innovation and enterprising are the wheels that steer the world into a brighter future. Great ideas result into great undertakings which pave the way for glaring success. In order to facilitate this vision of promoting entrepreneurship, E-Cell KNIT organizes "Let's Startup" - a pitching session. Work is the most important part of a person’s life and the only way to be satisfied by your work is to do what you truly love and like. These days to be innovative and entrepreneurial are becoming the two most important and crucial qualities that need to be instilled in a person so that the world comes in a brighter future.Pitching sessions are for all those people who all want to present the ideas and get a chance to avail government help in funding their belief of the future business. Great ideas result in great work which comes when you adore your work, the work whose foundation was your own idea which will result into great undertakings, paving the way for a glaring success. Thus, these sessions of pitching are held in order to facilitate this vision of promoting entrepreneurship so that students grab the opportunity to bring their idea into existence.
02 Reminiscence

Reminiscence – an interactive live conferencing session, held to provide folks a great opportunity to make their own paths of success as advices works when it is from people among ourselves. Here we introduce students with their alumnus, who were once in their shoes. They guide us with their life experiences, they not just motivate us but give examples of their struggle and tell us what to do instead of laying an authoritative front of discussion. The best part of this event is being a live event not just a recorded video, people get the answer to their questions and problems instantaneously in the most simple and crude form.
Its inspirational for folks as the hard work of our respected guest is commendable and help students to achieve brilliance. Till this day we had the honour of having three respected guests and we are beholden to them :-

With these wonderful, supportive interactions and a person’s diligence one can achieve whatever they want.
03 Interviews

The event was a roller coaster ride, a lot of experiences that grew us more as a person with reason. Walk-in interviews !! not only tested the students but also the assessor. Delight that came at the thought of adding a new generation in our family of Start-up Cell was inexpressible.
